How to install and use:

1.  Place the lamp and base on a flat, non-metallic surface. Connect the AC adapter to the power source and the other DC plug to the base.

2.  With both hands, grasp the lamp above the center of the base and slowly lower the lamp towards the base. When you feel resistance, adjust the ball until you feel a slight release. Keep the lamp steady for a few seconds.

3.  Once you feel the lamp is almost balanced in the air (not falling or being pushed upward), slowly release it until the lamp begins to spin on its own. If you are not successful, try again. This may take a few tries at first! If still unsuccessful, turn off the base and let it cool before trying again.
